DeGroot Hosta, Sieboldiana Starter Plant

Hostas are excellent additions to shady gardens and borders! They add color and texture and pair well with many perennials. Hosta ‘Sieboldiana’ has bold, round, seer-suckered, metallic blue-green leaves. This grandfather of large blue hostas is a gem and truly a sight to behold as its thick leaves form a huge mound that may reach 5 feet if left to mature! It is larger than other selections and sure to attract attention. Hosta require very little maintenance and are virtually pest free. They are ideal for specimen plants, borders, edging or woodland settings. They perform well in sun but prefer a shady location. Plant may be divided every few years or left undisturbed indefinitely.
