An unopened bottle of Platinum Bar and Saw Chain Lubricant can remain good for four years on the shelf. After a bottle has been opened, if it is properly stored in a sealed container and kept in a dark and dry location at about 77 degrees Fahrenheit (25°C), it can retain a similar shelf life of up to four years.
