Place this Queen Excluder between the honey and brood boxes to keep the queen from moving into honey supers and laying eggs in honey that you will harvest.
Do not add the excluder until the brood has been established.
This excluder is made of a computer welded, fully plated metal so you can use it for many seasons. It can be used in conjunction with any of your 10 frame Langstroth hives.
You will be able to find the queen easier to better control her movement and your results with this excluder installed in your hive.
