Ready To Lay Hen's Terms & Conditions

TERMS & CONDITIONS FOR READY TO LAY HENS:

Pre-orders of this product are for live, full-sized, ready-to-lay hens. Pre-ordered hens must be picked up at the Idaho Falls C-A-L Ranch store (1027 S 25th E, Ammon, ID 83406) on May 10, 2025, between the hours of 8:00 AM – 10:00 AM. Hens that are not picked up during the pickup window are subject to resale with NO refund. Once picked up, the customer assumes full responsibility for the hens. These are live animals, after they leave our care, we have no control over customer actions regarding treatment and care. Containment boxes for the hens will be provided, but transportation of the hens must be handled by the customer. A reminder email will be sent prior to the pickup date, followed by another email on the morning of pickup. Chickens are flock animals that thrive on social interaction and should never be kept alone. For their health and wellbeing, they should be introduced to existing flocks in pairs or small groups. We strongly recommend purchasing two or more birds if you’re adding to your flock or starting a new one.
