Terms & Conditions for Ready-to-Lay Hens:Terms & Conditions for Ready-to-Lay Hens: Pre-orders of this product are for live, full-sized, ready-to-lay hens. Pre-ordered hens must be picked up at your specified store during the pickup date and time listed in the product description section. Customer will receive 1 FREE bag of Nutrena NatureWise chicken feed for every ready-to-lay hen purchased upon pickup at their designated location. Hens that are not picked up during the pickup window are subject to resale with NO refund. Once picked up, the customer assumes full responsibility for the hens. These are live animals; after they leave our care, we have no control over customer actions regarding treatment and care. Containment boxes for the hens will be provided, but transportation of the hens must be handled by the customer. A reminder email will be sent prior to the pickup date, followed by another email on the morning of pickup. Chickens are flock animals that thrive on social interaction and should never be kept alone. For their health and well-being, they should be introduced to existing flocks in pairs or small groups. We strongly recommend purchasing two or more birds if you’re adding to your flock or starting a new one.
